Where do you see yourself in five years
TIP 1: If you say in your answer that you plan to move on to a new company in five
years’ time, you probably won't get hired. It takes time, effort and resources to hire
someone for a job, so they want to be sure they will see a long-term return on their
investment if they choose you over the other candidates.

TIP 2: A great thing to include in your response is to say you will still be working for
their company, but you will be an expert and advanced manager in an area of specialism.

Accepted Answer

I still plan to be working for your company            either in this role   or having
gained advancement to a more senior level.

I will have developed considerably undertaken internal training courses and be seen as
a go to expert for my area of specialism in five years.

From now I will also be seen as someone who will help support and train at new
members of staff as when they join the organization.
