rs old. I love English. I love French and I like competition. When talking of my characteristics, I would like to illustrate them with a case. In May 2006, I led a team of 5 members and participated in a university-wide English competition named the 2ndSIFT Mock APEC MRT Competition. My fellows and I were from a same Youth League department so we were able to work well with each other. We often discussed together, dined together and rehearsed together. We had a goal in mind. We helped each other a lot and therefore, our team spirit paid off, so I am team spirited and well coordinated. To be successful, one has to be confident. I’m confident of my strength and my English. This kind of confidence derives from my real English capacity. I excelled in both the CET-4 and the CET-6 and have passed the intermediate and the advanced interpretation test, so I am convinced that I can do well. Actually confidence is the driving force for success. Then I am diligent. I drafted and modified most of the manuscripts for our team members and I did a lot of work to prepare for it. Actually, diligence could make up for lacking of talent. Anyway, I was much rewarded for my diligence from my birth. Last but not least, I tend to keep a low profile. But I am ambitious but not aggressive. I am not flawless and occasionally I’m impatient and sometimes too picky.
