How long does it take for competitors to make a strong response?
Political environment refers to the political system, framework, policies, laws and regulations of a country or region. These factors often affect the business behavior of enterprises, especially have a significant impact on their long-term investment behavior. 2、经济Economics (1)经济发展水平 Level of economic development 经济发展水平较高 High level of economic development (2)经济发展规模 Economic development scale (3)宏观经济政策 macroeconomic policy 3、社会Society (1)人口(人口老龄化) Population (aging population) (2)消费者消费心理 Consumer psychology 4、科技Technology 科技政策、科技水平、新科技、新产品开发能力、科技的发展动向(5G、AR、大数据) Technology policies, technological level, new technologies, new product development capabilities, and technological development trends (5G, AR, big data) (二)产业环境分析(以下为分析工具) 1、产品生命周期 product life cycle (1)根据产业销售额增产率 Maturity period: New customers decrease, relying on repeat purchases from old customers ④衰退期:客户更挑剔、追求产品性价比,新老客户不断流失,要决定放弃产品or新一轮革新 Decline period: Customers are more picky and pursue product cost-effectiveness. New and old customers keep losing, and it is necessary to decide whether to give up the product or undergo a new round of innovation (2)根据产品质量和技术 ①导入期:产品设计新颖、品控较差,技术上不确定性大 ②成长期:产品技术性能有不足,但主流技术已出现,产品在不断地成长 ③成熟期:产品标准化,差异不明显,产品质量性能改进缓慢 ④衰退期:技术成熟,技术被模仿之后出现代替品快速充斥整个市场,企业易因为降低成本使得产品质量出现问题 eg产品生产过程中偷工减料 (3)根据供求状况 ①导入期:市场需求增长缓慢 ②成长期:市场需求高速增长,整个产业出现供不应求状况 ③成熟期:销售到达顶峰,市场规模不再扩大,市场增长缓慢,整个市场需求基本饱和,出现局部产能过剩 ④衰退期:整个市场需求减少,整个产业出现严重产能过剩,需要考虑产能重新分配 (4)产品定价 ①导入期:价格较高 ②成长期:价格最高eg特斯拉刚发售很高,之后有大幅度降价 ③成熟期:竞争者间会打价格战,使得价格普遍下降 ④衰退期:价格进一步降低,部分企业推出该产业,价格会有所提升 (5)根据发展战略 ①导入期:战略目标为扩大市场份额、市场占有率,故要投资于技术改进,提高产品质量 ②成长期:争取最大市场份额,故要做好市场营销、改善产品质量、在消费者眼中的形象、提高价格 ③成熟期:巩固市场份额的同时提高投资回报率,企业要提高效率、降低成本 ④衰退期:企业获取最后现金流的机会,故要控制成本保证正的现金流 2、波特五力(分析企业盈利能力、产品的市场结构,5个思考方向) 结合波特五力,企业对于自己有定位,明晰并加强自身优势(采购成本低or商品有特色)、改变不足(与供应商建立长期关系减少互相议价、与对手合作形成战略联盟把控行业领先地位) (1)潜在进入者的进入威胁 The substitution threat of substitutes The bargaining power of suppliers Increase investment to maintain and enhance its competitive position, as it will be an opportunity for long-term development and a source of profit for the enterprise Problem business: Develop and improve it to become a new star business, but if the investment of resources does not bring about an increase in market share, you can choose to abandon or shrink it Low profits, occupation of development funds, and small development prospects should be considered for withdrawal or thorough liquidation (What、Why、When、Where、Who)和两个以H开头的问题(How、How much)来全面了解问题的情况。 Why(为什么):为什么会出现这个问题? Where(何地):问题发生的地点在哪里? How(如何):问题是如何发生的? I’ve also developed strong analytical skills through my accounting courses, where I’ve gained experience in financial statement analysis and risk assessment. Additionally, I have a good understanding of tools like Excel and have some exposure to data analytics, which I’m eager to apply in an auditing context. In a recent project, I led a team where we had to analyze a company’s financial data. I ensured that tasks were evenly distributed based on each member’s strengths, and I coordinated communication, which resulted in a well-structured final report. This experience reinforced my ability to work efficiently in a team and manage deadlines effectively. EY’s commitment to building a better working world really resonates with me. I strongly believe in the importance of integrity and high-quality work, and I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute to EY’s mission of delivering value to clients while growing both personally and professionally. In the group discussion, I believe I performed well overall. I contributed actively to the conversation by proposing ideas and helping the team stay on track with the main objectives. One of my key contributions was suggesting how we could divide tasks based on each team member's strengths, which helped improve our efficiency. I also made sure to listen carefully to others, encouraging collaboration and ensuring that everyone's opinions were considered. I believe this helped create a more balanced and productive discussion. However, there’s always room for improvement. At times, I could have been more concise in my responses to allow more time for others to speak. Going forward, I’ll focus on refining how I communicate to strike the right balance between contributing ideas and facilitating input from others. Yes, there are a few aspects about my background and experiences that might not be fully captured on my resume. Firstly, while my resume highlights my academic achievements and relevant coursework, it doesn’t fully convey my passion for continuous learning. For example, I regularly engage in online courses related to data analytics and auditing tools to further enhance my skills outside of the classroom. Additionally, I have been involved in several extracurricular activities that have helped me develop my leadership and teamwork abilities. For instance, I organized a charity event at my university, which required coordination with different stakeholders and managing a team to achieve our fundraising goals. This experience taught me valuable lessons in project management and effective communication. Lastly, my personal interests, such as my commitment to sports and music, have helped me cultivate discipline, resilience, and a balanced lifestyle. These traits are essential for thriving in a fast-paced work environment like EY, even though they may not be explicitly mentioned on my resume. I believe my key strengths make me an excellent fit for the internship at EY. Firstly, I have a strong academic background in accounting, where I consistently ranked at the top of my class. This has provided me with a solid understanding of core concepts and analytical skills, essential for handling the technical demands of audit work. Secondly, I possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. In various group projects, I have successfully facilitated discussions, ensuring that all team members contribute their insights. I understand that auditing requires not only technical expertise but also the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues. I consistently ranked at the top of my class, which reflects my capacity to grasp new concepts quickly and apply them effectively. This means I can rapidly adapt to the demands of a dynamic auditing environment, mastering new tools and processes in a short amount of time. For example, during a university project analyzing a company’s financial data, I quickly learned and applied a new software tool that was unfamiliar to me. While others were still getting used to the system, I was able to lead the team in using the tool for more accurate analysis, which significantly improved the quality of our project. This ability to quickly learn and contribute in practical situations is a key differentiator. Additionally, my communication and collaboration skills help me work efficiently in team settings, ensuring that everyone’s strengths are utilized. I have the drive and discipline needed to not only meet expectations but exceed them by finding innovative solutions to challenges. I am confident that I can excel in this role. My academic background in accounting and consistent top performance reflect my strong understanding of the technical aspects needed in auditing. Additionally, my fast learning ability allows me to quickly adapt to new tools and processes, making me well-equipped to handle the tasks required for this position. I genuinely enjoy the nature of audit work. I am passionate about ensuring transparency and integrity in financial reporting and helping businesses manage their risks more effectively. The opportunity to analyze financial data and contribute to the reliability of business operations is something I find both intellectually stimulating and rewarding. As for working together, I believe I am a positive and collaborative colleague. Our team was tasked with developing a comprehensive strategy for a real company, and we only had one week to complete our analysis and presentation. The challenge was immense, as the case was highly complex, involving financial analysis, market research, and strategic planning. The biggest difficulty we encountered was a lack of alignment in our approach. Initially, we all had different ideas on how to proceed, which led to confusion and slowed our progress. Additionally, the time pressure added to the stress, and we realized we needed to quickly come together as a cohesive team to meet the deadline. To resolve this, I suggested we hold a meeting to clearly define each team member’s strengths and roles. We divided the work based on our individual expertise—some focused on financial analysis, others on market research, and I took on the task of synthesizing the information and structuring our final presentation. We also established regular check-ins to ensure everyone was on track and to address any challenges as a team. The turning point came when we started communicating more effectively and aligning our goals. We shared our progress frequently, provided constructive feedback, and supported each other in areas where we were struggling. In the end, our presentation was a success, and we placed in the top three of the competition. What made this experience special was how we overcame the initial misalignment and worked together to deliver a polished, well-researched solution. It taught me the importance of clear communication, delegation, and adaptability in a team setting—skills that I believe are essential in any professional environment, especially in auditing where teamwork is crucial to success The biggest difficulty I have faced in life was during my final year of undergraduate studies, when I was simultaneously preparing for my final exams, working on my thesis, and applying for graduate school. The workload was intense, and the pressure to maintain my academic ranking while planning my future was overwhelming. The most challenging part was managing my time effectively and staying focused under such high stress. I was balancing several deadlines at once, and there were moments when I felt completely drained, unsure if I could meet all the expectations. To overcome this, I broke down my tasks into smaller, more manageable goals, prioritized my responsibilities, and created a strict schedule to follow. I also learned to ask for help when needed, seeking guidance from my professors and peers. This approach allowed me to stay organized and gradually make progress without becoming overwhelmed. What I’m most proud of is not only finishing my exams and thesis with excellent results, but also successfully gaining admission to a top graduate program. This experience taught me the importance of resilience, time management, and asking for support when necessary. It showed me that even in the face of significant challenges, persistence and careful planning can lead to success. I now feel more confident in my ability to handle complex, high-pressure situations, which I believe will serve me well in my future career. Yes, during my undergraduate studies, I worked on a research project that was particularly challenging. The topic involved applying advanced econometric models to analyze financial data, which was a level of complexity I had not encountered before. The project required me to gather and process large datasets, apply sophisticated statistical techniques, and interpret the results in a meaningful way. One of the most difficult parts was mastering the use of econometric software and understanding how to apply the models accurately. Initially, I found it overwhelming to handle the data and apply the appropriate tests, especially because the theory behind these models was dense and technically demanding. What I am most proud of is the moment when I successfully implemented a key part of the analysis—the regression model that provided insights into the financial trends we were studying. After weeks of trial and error, I finally understood how to fine-tune the model and obtain reliable results. This breakthrough not only allowed me to complete the project with a strong analysis but also gave me a deep sense of accomplishment in learning how to overcome technical obstacles. Ultimately, the project helped me build confidence in my ability to tackle complex problems, apply theoretical knowledge in a practical context, and deliver results under pressure. This experience has made me better equipped to handle similar challenges in my future career. My biggest takeaway during my undergraduate studies was developing strong self-discipline and time management skills. Balancing my academic responsibilities with extracurricular activities and personal interests taught me how to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks. One of the most significant examples was during my second year when I participated in a national business competition while maintaining my academic standing as the top student in my major. The competition required extensive research, teamwork, and problem-solving under tight deadlines. At the same time, I had ongoing exams and assignments to complete. I managed to maintain my high GPA and, with my team, we secured a top prize in the competition. This experience not only honed my time management skills but also helped me strengthen my teamwork and leadership abilities. It showed me that with focus and proper planning, it’s possible to excel in multiple areas simultaneously. Ultimately, this experience prepared me for future challenges by teaching me how to balance priorities and work effectively in high-pressure environments, skills that I believe will be crucial in my future career. I chose to pursue a career in audit because I have a genuine passion for numbers and analysis. Firstly, auditing plays a crucial role in verifying tax compliance. Through financial audits, auditors examine whether a company's tax filings adhere to the applicable tax laws, helping to avoid potential tax risks, such as underpayment or overpayment of taxes. Secondly, audits ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including tax-related figures like deferred tax assets and liabilities, income tax expenses, and provisions. Accurate reporting is essential, as any errors in the financial statements could lead to incorrect tax filings, resulting in penalties. Moreover, during the audit process, auditors may identify opportunities for tax optimization. By analyzing a company’s financials, auditors can suggest ways to structure transactions or utilize tax credits to legally reduce the overall tax burden. Lastly, tax risk management is an important aspect of the audit process. Auditors can identify areas where the company is exposed to tax risks, such as improper tax planning or unreported liabilities, and propose measures to mitigate these risks. In summary, audits not only ensure that taxes are reported correctly but also help businesses manage tax risks and explore potential tax-saving strategies, making the link between taxation and auditing vital for a company's financial well-being. 觉得自己的主要优点、缺点是什么?advantages & disadvantages(主要考察 interpersonal ability) 优点: 1. I believe my main advantages lie in my strong communication skills, my ability to work well in teams, and my adaptability. My teamwork spirit allows me to collaborate effectively and support my teammates, ensuring that we achieve our common goals. Additionally, I adapt quickly to different work environments and team dynamics, making it easier to integrate and contribute. On the downside, one of my weaknesses is that I can be overly perfectionistic at times. This tendency may lead me to spend more time than necessary on certain tasks, as I strive for the highest quality. However, I recognize this and am actively working on managing my time more effectively to strike a balance between quality and efficiency. Another area I’m working on is being more decisive. In situations that require quick decision-making, I sometimes find myself hesitating. I am aware of this tendency and am actively practicing making quicker decisions by evaluating options and trusting my instincts. One of the shortcomings I have faced in my previous work experience is a lack of decisiveness. I often find myself hesitating when making decisions, especially in high-pressure situations where the stakes are high. This tendency can slow down the progress of projects, as I might take longer than necessary to reach a conclusion. As a result, my teammates sometimes became overly reliant on my decisions, which could create additional pressure and delay our overall workflow. To address this issue, I have been actively working on improving my decision-making skills. I started by setting clear goals and criteria to help guide my choices, which has significantly increased my confidence. I also practice making quicker decisions in lower-stakes situations to build my decisiveness. This approach has allowed me to become more efficient in my work while fostering a more proactive attitude in team settings. I believe there are several areas where I can still improve. First and foremost, I want to enhance my decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure situations. While I've made progress, I recognize the importance of being able to make quick, effective decisions when time is of the essence. Additionally, I aim to strengthen my time management skills. As I often juggle multiple tasks and projects, developing better prioritization strategies will help me work more efficiently and meet deadlines without compromising quality. Furthermore, I am committed to continually expanding my professional knowledge in the audit and accounting fields. Staying updated on the latest regulations and industry practices is crucial for providing the best service to clients. Finally, I would like to work on my leadership skills. I am confident that with hard work, perseverance, and a passion for this profession, I can achieve my long-term goals and build a fulfilling career at EY. In the next five years, my career development plan is structured around three key phases: In the first 1-2 years, my focus will be on mastering the foundational skills of auditing. I aim to gain hands-on experience across a variety of industries, learning from different projects and understanding EY’s methodologies. This will help me build a strong technical base while also contributing to the team’s success. In the next phase, I plan to deepen my professional capabilities. I will pursue certifications such as the CPA and develop expertise in emerging areas like data analytics and automation technologies within audit. I believe these skills will be crucial in staying ahead of industry trends and adding more value to my work. By the fifth year, I aspire to take on leadership responsibilities, either as a project manager or in a supervisory role within the audit team. My goal is to manage complex engagements, mentor junior team members, and help drive innovation in the way we deliver our services. I see myself growing both technically and as a leader, contributing meaningfully to EY’s continued success. I understand that long working hours and overtime are common in the accounting and auditing profession, especially during busy seasons or on large projects. This is part of the industry’s nature, and I am prepared to meet the demands when necessary. I am open to both business travel and overtime, as I see these as important opportunities to better serve clients and gain valuable experience. While I prioritize efficiency in managing my time and tasks, I also recognize that some situations may require extra hours to meet deadlines or address client needs. As for the latest I can work, I am flexible. I can handle working late when needed, even if it means staying until midnight during critical times. However, I believe it’s important to balance workload and avoid consistently working extreme hours to maintain both productivity and well-being in the long run. I view overtime as a natural part of the audit profession, especially during peak seasons. I am fully prepared to take on additional work when necessary, as I understand that tight deadlines and client demands are part of the job. That being said, I strive to work efficiently and manage my time effectively to minimize unnecessary overtime. I believe that by staying organized and prioritizing tasks, we can achieve a lot without consistently relying on extra hours. However, I recognize that there are times when working late is unavoidable, and I am committed to doing what it takes to meet the team’s and clients' needs. When faced with tasks that may seem ‘meaningless’ or repetitive, I try to look at the bigger picture. Every task, no matter how small, contributes to the overall success of a project or audit. If I encounter work that feels inefficient, I would take the initiative to understand its purpose, and if appropriate, suggest improvements that could streamline the process for the team. Ultimately, I see every experience as an opportunity to learn and improve. I am well aware of the work intensity at EY, especially during busy seasons, where long hours and tight deadlines are the norm. I have prepared myself mentally and physically for these demands, and I am confident in my ability to handle the pressure that comes with the job. I have always performed well under pressure. During my academic career and previous projects, I have faced tight deadlines and complex tasks, but I stayed focused and maintained a calm mindset, which allowed me to deliver high-quality work. I believe that stress can be managed effectively with proper time management, prioritization of tasks, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, I use exercise and other activities, like playing the piano, to relieve stress and recharge. These habits help me stay focused and productive even during intense work periods. I’m confident that I can handle the pressures of working at EY and thrive in this fast-paced environment. If there are differing opinions among team members, I believe it’s crucial to approach the situation with open communication and respect. My first step would be to listen actively to my colleagues’ perspectives to fully understand their viewpoints. This fosters a collaborative atmosphere where everyone feels valued. Next, I would aim to find common ground and highlight our shared goals. By focusing on what we all want to achieve, we can work together more effectively. If necessary, I would provide constructive feedback and support my arguments with relevant data or examples to facilitate a rational discussion. If we still cannot reach an agreement, I believe it’s important to involve a third party, such as a supervisor or team leader, who can offer an objective perspective and help mediate the discussion. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that our team works cohesively, leveraging each member's strengths and perspectives for the best outcome. When dealing with difficult or high-demanding clients, I always maintain a professional and patient demeanor. It’s essential to respect their needs and understand that their high expectations often come from a place of concern for their business. In a previous experience, I worked with a client who had very specific demands and was quite vocal about their expectations. I approached the situation by first listening carefully to their concerns. I made sure to acknowledge their feelings and confirm that I understood their needs, which helped to build trust. Next, I communicated clearly about what we could realistically achieve within the given timeframe. I set reasonable expectations while ensuring they understood the processes involved. This transparency helped manage their expectations and reduced some of the tension. Additionally, I proactively sought solutions to their requests and followed up regularly to keep them informed about our progress. By staying engaged and demonstrating my commitment to meeting their needs, I was able to transform a challenging situation into a productive working relationship. Ultimately, the client appreciated our efforts, and we were able to deliver results that met their expectations. If I find myself in a situation where the client’s boss is unreasonably hostile and uncooperative, my first step would be to remain calm and maintain a professional demeanor. It’s important not to let personal emotions affect my work or the project. I would then try to engage in open communication to understand the root of their dislike or concerns. By listening actively and showing empathy, I can potentially uncover any underlying issues that might be causing their resistance. Next, I would emphasize our shared goals for the project and seek to identify areas where we can align our interests. Highlighting the benefits of collaboration and how our joint efforts can lead to successful outcomes may help in breaking down barriers. If needed, I would adjust my approach to accommodate their working style or preferences, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to collaborate. If the situation doesn’t improve despite my efforts, I would consider seeking support from my manager or a more senior team member to mediate the situation. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that we achieve project objectives while maintaining a professional working relationship. If I find myself in a situation where I am unable to complete a task assigned by my leader, my first step would be to thoroughly assess the situation. I would analyze the task requirements, resources available, and any obstacles that might be hindering progress. If it becomes clear that I won’t be able to meet the deadline or complete the task as expected, I would communicate this to my leader as soon as possible. Timely communication is key, and I believe in being transparent about challenges I am facing. During this conversation, I would also propose potential solutions or adjustments to the original plan. For example, I might suggest extending the deadline, reallocating resources, or breaking the task into smaller, more manageable parts. This shows my commitment to finding a way to achieve our goals, even if the original plan needs to be modified. Throughout this process, I would maintain a positive attitude and a proactive approach, focusing on how to overcome the challenges rather than simply highlighting the problems. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that we meet our objectives while being honest about what can realistically be accomplished 如果你收到manager的negative feedback,你会怎么做 1. If I receive negative feedback from my manager, my first step would be to maintain an open mindset and accept the feedback as an opportunity for growth. I believe that constructive criticism is essential for personal and professional development. I would take the time to listen carefully to the feedback and ask for specific examples or details to ensure that I fully understand the issues being raised. This clarification is important for me to grasp the context and the expectations moving forward. Additionally, I would seek suggestions for improvement. I might ask my manager what specific steps I can take to address the concerns and enhance my performance. This not only shows my willingness to learn but also demonstrates my commitment to doing better. After that, I would develop an actionable improvement plan based on the feedback and the suggestions received. I would focus on implementing these changes in my work. Finally, I would proactively follow up with my manager in the future to share my progress and any positive changes I’ve made as a result of the feedback. This demonstrates my dedication to continuous improvement and my respect for their input. Yes, the knowledge I've gained in my studies can be directly applied to the business world in several ways.
